Internet essay

As we know the Internet sources always have an effect on students or people lives.
In some ways it makes it easier for some people to get their work done it also have an effect on the youngest or teenagers who uses the online sources by getting connected with people that they don’t know who they really are, and without knowing the risk in which they are putting their lives  and their reputations. Face book, My Space and Blogs are the most useful internet sources that most teenagers use today.
What you say online could hunt you down. Face book, my space, blogs and other websites are the most useful internet sources that most teenagers’ uses today and also the common person could post their thoughts and experiences on the web to share with friends and others. Web 2.0, a tool that brings together the smallest in which they get to post and share feelings, thoughts and experiences with other people. For example, “you can learn more about how Americans live just by looking at the backgrounds of you tube videos –those rumpled bedrooms and toy strewn basement rec rooms-than you could from 1,000 hours of Net work television.” This evidence supporting my assertion of how web 2.0 brings together the smallest  in which they get to post feelings and experiences, such as you tube is a web were we could learn instantly than watching televisions 1,000 of hours and sometimes we don’t get to learn anything  from it. “The new web is a different thing, it’s a tool for bringing together the smallest contributions of millions of people and making them matter.” Many people have been using the websites in order to know others around the world and to express their feelings and thoughts with them. Many people finds friends by using the web sites, such as face book, my space, and blogs in order to make friends that would understand them better than the real peoples in their lives. Sometimes people have problems in their life or they are passing through a situation where they can’t express it with people that they know in their lives, so they rather share it with others online because there might be people online that would understand them better or might give them advise than the people in their lives, because sometimes there are people that they know such as a family member or friends but those people don’t give them that much attention to the person who is passing through bad situations so they rather find friends through the internet that will give them advice.  That’s why the internet source brings together the smallest community in which they get to post and share feelings, thoughts and experiences with others.
My space, Face book and Blogs are the most online websites that most teenagers use today to post comments and to express their feelings and thoughts too. But without knowing the risks in which they are putting their lives and reputations and the consequences in the future. For example, Colleges denied admission to applicants because of their entries in blogging sites includes disparaging comments about Reed College. “Colleges, High School and even Middle School students across the USA have been suspended or expelled, thrown off athletic teams, passed over for jobs, and even arrested based on their online postings.” This evidence supports my assertion of how Colleges denies admissions to applicants do to the reasons of posting disparaging comments which leads to a record for those who tries to look for a job and no one would hire them because they have posted comments on their blogs which affects their reputation. Another example about “20 student in Costa Mesa were suspended from Te Winkle Middle School because those student threatened a student to kill him on my space.” This is another reason why students are being arrested and suspended because of their comments or things they post on my space and threatening others. This is one of the effects of my space, face book, and Blogs in which teenagers are affected by posting comments that would ruin their lives and even their reputations. It also affects others that are being threatened through those web sites and it could cause them depression and might suicide themselves because they can’t tolerate those comments that others are posting about them. In my opinion I think the teenagers should know or investigate that web sites aren’t safe or private to identify themselves because there are people on lines that have different thoughts than us. They try to find a way to contact with teens or people to know more about them and they might use a false identity to identify themselves to those who fall in their tricks. Teenagers shouldn’t trust those kinds of people unless they really know those people.
As more and more students turn to websites such as face book and my space to chronicle their lives and socialize with friends and without knowing the risks or dangers in which they are putting their lives. “But to adults, these websites are places were kids are naively putting their reputations and future  ... not to mentions personal safety…at risk.” But for some students or teenagers they don’t mind about the consequences of using those websites. For example, student’s pos picture of themselves holding cans of beers and bottles of liquor...even when they are under age. The photos that they post on their Blogs or my space and face book is a place were thousands of people would see it in which they are publishing their bad behavior online. Another example, “to teen and young adults social websites are private spaces where they can interact in the open multimedia style of the online world in which they grew up.” In my opinion teens and young adult shouldn’t open up themselves in the online world because we might think   that it’s safe but in some sort of ways social websites can’t hide everything that we post online or things that we share. This way we are putting are selves at risk because we don’t know who is reading and checking it out. For example, “a 16 year old boy in Jefferson Colo...Was arrested after police say he showed pictures of himself on his my space page holding hand guns. ”this is one of the consequences of posting pictures that could lead teenagers to get arrested by showing pictures that shouldn’t be posted on their my space or face book even the police are getting involved on those websites to investigate cases in which students are involucrate, and also police have shot down parties with underage drinking after learning about them on my space.
I think it’s good that the police interact to this kind of stuff such as checking what others are up to, in order to not let others get harm. For example, “police recently have investigated several cases involving teens who were sexually assaulted by men they met on this sites.” Those are the consequences to teenagers who chronicle their lives and socialize with people without knowing the risk or dangers in which they are putting their lives like those teenagers who thinks that the websites are safe but they end up being the victims of sexual abuse because they didn’t care about their actions and reveling themselves to people they don’t know so they end up getting abused just because they met them online which isn’t safe  because of what they say online could hunt them down.
